Montreal aritst Raphael Montpetit has arrived in Calgary! Diana Paul Galleries is thrilled to announce representation of Raphael's masterful use of light, intuitive palette and use of sophisticated texture. His focus of work may be categorized in two subjects; intimate figurative works and streetscapes of a day in the life of his Montreal neighbourhood. We welcome you to visit the gallery to view these gorgeous works in person.

Born in 1980 in Laval des Rapides, Quebec, Mr. Montpetit began an apprenticeship at the age of 17 under his father, Richard Montpetit. Within two years, Raphaël’s works were exhibited at the Kastel gallery in 1998, where he held a solo show at nineteen. Since then, he has had several solo exhibitions and has gained recognition his work so much deserves. Raphaël Montpetit is also represented by galleries in Montreal and Toronto and Baie St-Paul. His works have landed in many public and private collections.
